Cancellation policy

Some items in our store are sold as subscriptions or pre-orders. This policy explains how those work and how to change or cancel them. For returns and refunds on items already delivered, see our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Subscriptions
A subscription means we ship the same product to you on a repeating schedule. You pick the frequency at checkout (monthly, every other month, quarterly, or whatever the product offers) and we ship and charge based on that schedule.
Billing
Your payment method is stored securely with our payment processor. We charge it ahead of each shipment, not all at once, unless you've chosen to prepay the full term.
If a payment fails, we'll retry the charge and email you. If it keeps failing, the subscription pauses until you update your payment method from your account page.
Auto-renewal
Some subscriptions auto-renew at the end of their term. We'll email you before any renewal charge. If you don't want to renew, cancel before the renewal date.
Skipping, pausing, and canceling
You can skip a shipment, pause the subscription, or cancel it at any time from your account page. Your order confirmation emails also have direct links to manage the subscription.
Any changes need to be made before the next billing date. Once a charge has processed, that shipment is locked in and ships as scheduled.
Canceling stops all future shipments and charges. It doesn't refund past ones.
Pre-orders
A pre-order lets you reserve a product that isn't currently in stock, either because we're still pouring it or because it's a limited release that hasn't dropped yet.
How charges work
Pre-orders are billed one of two ways, and the product page tells you which applies:
- Full payment at checkout. The total is charged immediately and the order ships when the product is ready.
- Partial deposit at checkout. A deposit is charged at checkout. The remaining balance is charged automatically when the order ships. Your payment method is stored so we can complete the charge.
Estimated ship dates
Pre-order pages list an estimated ship date. We'll do our best to hit it. If something pushes the date back, we'll email you with an update and you can decide whether to wait it out or cancel for a full refund.
Canceling a pre-order
You can cancel a pre-order any time before it's been fulfilled. Head to your account page, find the order, and cancel from there. If you run into trouble, email support@regularcandles.com.
If you paid a partial deposit, the deposit is refunded on cancellation. If you paid in full, the full amount is refunded.
Once a pre-order has been fulfilled and handed off to the carrier, it can't be canceled. You can still request a refund under the terms of our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
