Wholesale Terms & Conditions

These terms govern wholesale orders placed with Regular Candle Company, the operating entity behind Regular Ass Candles. By submitting an order through our wholesale portal, you agree to the terms below.

Becoming a wholesale partner

To open a wholesale account, submit an application at regularcandles.com/pages/wholesale-request. We review applications based on retailer fit, location, and brand alignment, and respond within 5 business days.

Approved partners receive login credentials for the wholesale portal at account.regularcandles.com, where catalog, pricing, and ordering are managed.

Active accounts must keep a valid resale certificate or equivalent sales tax exemption documentation on file for the states where they operate.

Pricing

Wholesale pricing is set at 50% off the current full retail price listed on regularcandles.com. All prices are in USD.

We may adjust wholesale pricing with at least 30 days written notice. Orders placed before a price change ship at the existing price.

Volume pricing is available on larger orders. Email wholesale@regularcandles.com to discuss.

Minimums

  • First order: $200 minimum
  • Reorders: $200 minimum

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)

Wholesale partners may not advertise our products below the retail price listed on regularcandles.com. This applies to online listings, paid ads, printed circulars, and posted in-store sale prices.

In-store discounts offered to individual customers at the register are fine. Public, advertised discounts that undercut MAP are not.

Order placement and turnaround

Wholesale orders are placed through the portal at account.regularcandles.com.

You'll receive an order confirmation email within 24 hours of submission. In-stock orders are processed and ship within 1 to 3 business days. Backorders and partial fulfillments are communicated by email with an estimated availability date.

Payment terms

Payment is due in full before any order ships. We do not currently offer net terms.

We accept credit cards only at this time.

Shipping

Wholesale orders ship free within the contiguous United States via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. The carrier is selected based on order size and destination.

International shipping is available to select countries and is quoted on a per-order basis. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer's responsibility.

Risk of loss transfers to the buyer when the order is handed off to the carrier. Shipping damage claims are handled under the Returns section below.

Zip code exclusivity

We offer zip code exclusivity to wholesale partners who maintain consistent ordering. To hold exclusivity in a zip code, a partner must have placed at least one qualifying wholesale order within the previous 90 days.

If 90 days pass without a qualifying order, exclusivity in that zip code lapses and we may approve additional partners in the same area.

Exclusivity terms are reviewed periodically based on sales performance and overall brand strategy, and may be modified with notice.

Returns and exchanges

  • Returns are accepted on the initial wholesale order only. Reorders are final sale.
  • Damaged or defective products will be replaced or refunded at our expense.
  • Unsold inventory is not eligible for return.
  • Damage claims must be submitted within 5 business days of receipt, with photos and the order number.
  • A Return Authorization (RA) number is required before returning any product. Returns sent without an RA may not be accepted or processed.

To request an RA, email wholesale@regularcandles.com with the order number and the reason for return.

Marketing and branding

Wholesale partners may not resell Regular Ass Candles on third-party retail marketplaces, including Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop, or similar platforms. Sales must occur through the partner's own physical or online storefront.

Product photography, brand assets, and marketing materials are available on request. Use of logos, names, and brand assets must follow our brand guidelines, which are shared with approved partners.

Co-branded content (joint social posts, in-store signage, event activations) is encouraged. Email wholesale@regularcandles.com to coordinate.

Customization and private label

Custom scents, co-branded labels, and full private-label runs are available. These projects require:

  • A separate quote and lead time conversation
  • Higher minimum quantities than standard wholesale
  • A signed custom order agreement

Inventory and stock

We do our best to maintain steady inventory across the core line. Seasonal and limited-edition releases have firm ordering deadlines, communicated in advance.

If a product is discontinued, partners will receive notice and an opportunity to place a final order before sell-through.

Quality assurance

All products are made with coconut wax, phthalate-free and paraben-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. Each batch is quality-checked before shipping and labeled with a batch code for traceability.

Products meet US safety standards for home fragrance. California partners can request CARB VOC compliance documentation for applicable SKUs.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a wholesale account for:

  • Violation of MAP, marketplace, or brand guidelines
  • Failure to maintain a valid resale certificate
  • Chargebacks or unresolved payment disputes
  • Any other material breach of these terms

On termination, zip code exclusivity is forfeited, outstanding unfulfilled orders may be canceled, and access to the wholesale portal will be revoked.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active wholesale partners by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued ordering after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
